Flying Iron Ranch is an alpaca farm located on Log Hill Mesa. We have a large herd of about 80 Huacaya alpacas. We are a breeding operation, so we have babies called crias throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons. Our ranch is heavily involved in Colorado agritourism, as we conduct many farm tours and community special events. Our herd gets sheared every spring, and we process about 300 pounds of beautiful fleece into amazing alpaca products. These items are available in our ranch farm store as well as online and at nearby festivals and events. Call us today to schedule a tour today! Flying Iron Ranch also offers herd sire breedings to our champion males in addition to sale of their offspring and females bred to those males. We also have a few pet/fiber quality alpacas available for the fiber artist and alpaca enthusiast. Mentoring new breeders is essential to expanding our industry, so Flying Iron Ranch offers mentoring and adjusting for those who are not quite ready for alpacas on a full-time basis. We welcome you to contact Flying Iron Ranch!
