Comfort Food featuring Chicken Fried Steak, Burgers, Salads & Steaks in Ridgway, CO where the original John Wayne “True Grit” movie was filmed. Hours: 11 am – 9 pm Thursday thru Tuesday. Closed on Wednesdays!

We pride ourselves in creating a place that feels like to locals and visitors alike. We love cooking for our own families, so we want you to feel like part of our family the moment you step through our front door.

We love our amazing community and give back as much as we can.

We have servants’ hearts and love to take care of folks, especially our youth, by supporting community programs that include Ridgway Athletics, Young Life, and Ouray County 4H. We actively support the Ouray County Rodeo, San Juan Skijoring and the Ridgway Chamber of Commerce.

We love that we get to live in a place with such a rich history of ranching, the railroad, and mining. Oh, and of course, we are huge John Wayne fans!!
